Muhammad warned his Umma not to fight each other, not to split, not to become (using variety of condescending words) like Christianity! But no sooner he died from the poison, there were large groups who left Islam. Omar declared war on them and killed a large group of them - officially making it a capital punishment to leave Islam.
And the fighting on who should lead the Umma started. Here is fun competition that demonstrate the peaceful nature of Islam. Beside Abu Bakr (who was lucky to die of natural causes just after two years of becoming a Khalifa), Umar (assassinated), Othman (assassinated) and finally Ali who waited forever for his term had to fight Aysha in the battle of the Camel that resulted in some 10,000 deaths of Muslim on Muslim killings only to be (assassinated).

In simpler words, their charge is fighting for their very basic rights. Freedom of Belief!
Do you see 'Saba Kord afshari' on the bottom right corner? She is only 20 years old and got 24 years sentence in prison. More than her age! By the time she releases form prison, she will be 44 years old!
The same for 'Yasaman Aryani' on the top left corner, only 24 years old. She got arrested along with her mother, next to her, 'Monireh Arabshahi'.
'Mojgan Keshavarz' and many more who we don't know them yet.

Mubarak Bala, the President of the Humanist Association of Nigeria, was arrested in his home on April 28, 2020 following allegations that he insulted the Prophet Muhammad on social media. His legal team has been unable to access Mubarak and are asking authorities to clarify where he’s being held. He was previously detained in 2014 on the grounds that he was an atheist.
We fear that Mr. Bala is being targeted solely for his exercise of his rights of freedom of belief and freedom of expression, as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution and international and regional instruments to which Nigeria is a signatory—freedoms that are the cornerstone of our shared values.
Rishvin Ismath is a former Islamist who co-founded the Council of Ex-Muslims of Sri Lanka. He is the first
public ex-Muslim in the country, declaring himself an ex-Muslim atheist before a Parliamentary Select Committee in 2019.
Ismath was recently threatened inside the Presidential Commission of Inquiry premises by an Islamist.
This took place after he was given the opportunity to cross examine Rasheed Hajjul Akbar, the former leader of the Sri Lankan Jamat e Islami for 24 years until September 2018 at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry probing into the 2019 Easter Sunday Attacks. Ismath asked him about his propagating armed struggle, sending Sri Lankan Jihadi fighters to Kashmir, Afghanistan and Pakistan and about rejecting Sri Lankan law in favour of Sharia.
The session on 26th October ended around 23.40pm.
When Ismath was leaving the session, two individuals in the commission parking lot who had come with Rasheed Hajjul Akbar. threatened Ismath. He informed the secretary of the commission and the matter was relayed to the judges of the commission. Chairman of the Commission - Court of Appeal Judge, Justice Janak de Silva, issued an order to National Authority for the Protection of Victims of Crimes and Witnesses to take the necessary steps. Ismath has also made a separate complaint to the police. This has been reported in local media.

Not to be confused with Abdullah Bin Sa'd who was an governor of Egypt This Abdullah Ibn Sad Ibn Abi Sarh is rarely mentioned in Islamic sources because, again history is written by the winners. He was Muhammad's favourite scribe, most knowledgeable in language, and most trusted even by Islamic sources. Abdullah could see Muhammad was making many linguistic mistakes reciting revelations. He wondered how Allah does not know linguistic grammatical issues. What shocked him more is that when Abdullah suggested corrections, Muhammad told him to do it!! Abdullah had trouble with that. How can a person, like him, have the authority to fix the Quran. Eventually, like many Muslims like us, the penny dropped and decided to make the very difficult and risky decision to say ....BULLSHIT!!
He escaped to Mecca from Madina. He told everyone what he has witnessed. Muhammad was very angry...on the day when Mecca fall, and after promising that Mecca will always be a city of peace and no killings..Muhammad declared one day and 10 people to be killed as "exception that Allah told him" to be...and Muhammad went after his biggest critics...one of whom was Abdullah. Abdullah was executed.
We, today, as Ex Muslims, need to remember this brave honest man...who is very much like us, decided better die telling the truth or living a lie.
